Any questions?  Melbourne - Queenstown Queenstown on the postcards As soon as I flew above Queenstown and the clouds opened up I knew this is the place I want to live for a while! It was a beautiful sunny day and the mountains are just amazing to see. Queenstown is on the South Island right on lake Wakatipu. Probably the most popular place to be in New Zealand. Also famous as the adventure capital of the world! Everything's possible here! When I first got here on the 6th of April I stayed at Nomads and started printing out CVs straight away and walked in all the tourist information centres and travel agencys to apply for a job. Unfortunately this time was the quiet season so non of the places was hiring. Anyway, I started applying for any other jobs in retail and also for an Aupair position. Getting a first little friend First walk through the Queenstown Garden I was the happiest in the entire world when the family got back to me, we met up for a coffee and decided to give it a go....

Having a motorbike makes it so easy to get around. On our first day we all went to the Sandbar, to either chill out or going surfing.  We also went to Finns Beach Club which was an awesome place to hang out right next to the beach. Another morning Jake, Paige and me went for breakfast just somewhere down the road which turned out to be the best avocado sandwich I ever had - haven't had many before tho 😄 but it was aweso...
